Surely the concept that we all have of showroom be that of a large container space full of products to show to the public. A place whose main objective is to be able to see and touch finishes, check the scale or feel the effect that these objects produce on us and the place they occupy. But can we turn the exhibition space into something more, an experience?

Special design

This is the question that Maraba Studio was formulated upon receiving the commission for the design and lighting of the showroom for the designer furniture store Macassar , on the island of Lanzarote. The elegant French toilet brand Trone was the perfect excuse to develop a special place that would simultaneously serve as a showroom and toilet for staff and clients. A project made a reality thanks to the variety of linear systems that Lluria offers.

water effect

Upon entering this space, the glow and flashes of moving blue light flood and slide gently across the walkable surface. The large side mirror amplifies the aquatic and light effect produced by the projection of a gobo circular that rotates in constant motion.

Indirect lighting

At the end of the corridor, the indirect lighting behind the vertical mirror provides scale, elegance and slenderness, with the lower light under the sink being responsible for making it float in the space. The supporting side wall light provides accent, contrast and functional lighting to the set.

Movement and dynamism

Designer toilets bathed in light that, beyond illuminating the space, redefines its avant-garde character. Lines of light that run and fold through the different surface planes thanks to the profiles and integrated systems by LLuria. Its rhythmic arrangement generates a sensation of movement and dynamism while moving through the space.

light eclipse

The wide variety of LLuria LED strips inside IP20 They allow you to create any imaginable effect. In this case, the eclipse of the circular mirror is achieved by easily adapting a flexible perimeter LED strip to the inside of its contour. The dimensions of the space are multiplied by the optical illusion produced by the reflection of the side mirrors. A simple but intelligent project action capable of reproducing this magical moment of light to infinity.
